Explain why?

What has he done?
He’s wasted picks left and right.
The medical staff is a joke.
He’s made 2 hires as head coach. One was terrible, the other isn’t doing well. How many GMs get the chance to hire 3 coaches?
And the coach he fired a year after he got here wanted to fight him a year later and can’t stand him.
I’m pretty sure Zion can’t stand him.
This family he’s building isn’t how you win championships. We talk all the time about how important Larry and CJ are to the team off the court. frick that. We aren’t some young team full of rookies anymore. I’m not saying I want to trade CJ, but Griff is never going to even entertain that idea. CJ says he wants to retire here. Well that’s great and I love the guy and I hope that can happen, but if we can improve our team by trading him, then you do it. But that’s hard to do when you constantly preach all this family crap b/c then you look like a hypocrite.
He’s out there to not hurt anyone’s feelings. frick yo feelings. I’m here to win. You’ll feel good when we win.

All of this may be true and good reasoning for doing it.

We've just had our best regular season in 16 years. Griff isn't getting fired. Willie getting fired is very unlikely.

Let's live in the real world.

And in that real world, I think that BI is getting traded for a center.

The only "run it back" scenario that keeps the big three intact would be something like trading Dyson or Hawk for a young center like Walker Kessler. Or a freak lottery where we end up with a top-4 pick.

But I think that the evidence is strong now that BI is not a great fit with Zion, and we can't afford his extension with a poor fit.

My off-season prediction is that BI gets traded for a new starting center.
