Should Woody take a look at Chaim Bloom?

Chaim Bloom who currently works in the St Louis front office has formerly been the CBO for the Red Sox and the Rays. Chaim is amongst the best talent evaluators in the game of baseball. If Chaim were to come in an advisory role to JJ it could help boost the rebuild.

Outside of 2021 weren’t the Red Sox pretty bad under Chaim Bloom?

Shalom Chaim. Welcome to the Rant.

I think we should look at Pete Rose for hitting coach too.
Former MLB manager Joe Maddon is available as a special assistant to the head coach as well.

Where does this stupid shite come from?
So you are telling me that some dude who already works for a MLB team should drop what he is doing right now and come to BR and work for a college baseball team?
This is among the stupidest posts I have seen ever. Some of you people need to throw your keyboard away.

Chaim is good friends with Jonathan Papelbon who is a BR native, possible connection I found.

This might be dumber than your first post. Congrats.
But let me add this to the scenario...tell me if I am close.
So here we are in the middle of the season, and things aren't going like we hoped, so a college athletic director is supposed to call a guy working for an MLB team...and this guy is supposed to quit work NOW and come to BR to work for a COLLEGE team in some sort of position that the OP pulled out of his arse that doesn't even exist.
But the good news is that you went full PI-detective and discovered that this random guy who works for the Cardinals is good friends with Jonathan Papelbon, who has nothing to do with LSU but who happened to be born in BR, therefore VOILA! Match made in heaven.
Am I close?

In what universe do you think this would possibly happen?

The universe where Woody wants to win.

In all fairness we did see Wes Davis leave a MLB team in a pennant race to come to BR.

I mean i wouldn’t be upset if we got the former GM for the Red Sox to be an analyst…
I don’t see it happening

Totally different deal. Dude had been an SEC and college coach before. The schmuck the OP is gushing over shook Jonathan Papelbon's hand once and Papelbon was born in BR and lived here for like 12 minutes.

All options should be in the table at thisa point

Yep. 100%.
I have always thought LSU baseball fans are like the Alabama football fans that we make fun of ad nauseam. Very entitled, and think they are above one bad year.

And he was recently a former SEC pitching coach who was wanting to spend more time with family.
