re: 1 dead, 11 others shot in mass shooting outside of the Republic in Nola Warehouse District

I can’t imagine being an ICU or ER nurse these days.I worked ICU 31 years,retired 2010.
Probably only averaged less than 1 per year.
Ellick doesn’t have the shootings N.O. or B.R. does but they’re picking up here.
Gunshot victims tend to be a lot of work,the simple flesh wounds don’t go to ICU.We got the ones with holes through their livers or lungs,or multiple,wounds.Most I ever dealt with was a guy shot by his wife,11 entrance wounds,3 exit wounds.14 holes in total.
