FDR and his socialists/communists in his cabinet supplied Stalin with Lend Lease. The amount went up drastically even after Stalingrad and Stalin used it to advance deep into Eastern Europe and even used it to supply Mao to defeat the non communists of Chiang Kai-Shek. Lend lease continued to be supplied to Stalin even after Germany surrendered. While all the while Stalin was holding American pilots as pow's when they crashed in Soviet territory after bombing Japan.
