It is an absolute disgrace
The thing is, we all grew up accepting the fact that women voting is fine and normal as none of us on TD were born before 1920.
But, this was not the case for at least 2,000 years (only going back to beginnings of Roman Empire as we know that the Roman men did vote but Roman women were prohibited).
So, this relative newfound “right” is very new and has had a profound impact on society.
Imagine an election where abortion was not the top issue for over half of the electorate. An election where the primary issues were taxes, immigration, etc. for the majority of voters.
Literally what would Biden run on without abortion? Abortion has been the key issue for democrats for at least the last 50 years…a full one-half the amount of time women have been able to vote.
