I lived across the street from there when I was at ULL. It was getting sketchy 20 years ago, so I’d imagine it’s full blown ghetto by now.

You talking about the apartments themselves?

The apartments in that area didn’t go full blown ghetto until Northside was labeled Upper Lafayette, and this section of the Southside was labeled MidCity. We have always had ghetto pockets (Woodvale Place Apartments, and Normandy Circle to name two) but with what’s happening at 110 W Bayou Parkway Condos, and on Rena Dr, it seems we’re being surrounded.
