I cannot recall who it was, but not long ago during a very critical vote, the dims pushed in one of their reps in a fricking wheelchair that had just been released from the hospital, just to give them the edge.

Tell me again how the GOPe is anything but the controlled opposition wing of the Establishment Swamp..

I work 6 days and 60 hours a week on average and you pretty much have to assume I'm either dead or in the hospital or lying somewhere injured and unconscious if I fail to show up for work. Been that way for 29 consecutive years since I first entered the workforce...

So, these members of Congress basically work 7 months out of the year, tops, and still have to "call in"? We need the power to fire these motherfrickers on the spot for absence, just like they would do to us if they were our bosses. Yet we're the boss, and all we get to do is give them a performance review every 6 years... Let that sink in.

She stayed at home because she didn't want to burn any votes later for a re-election. Wasn't planning on supporting it.
