I love achievers, I love free enterprise, I love the idea of building something out of nothing.

I admire achievers very much, but I have no respect for trust funders and inherited wealth.

The people you discuss in your second sentence are part of the incentive to the people you mentioned in your first sentence.

The problem here is that you can’t have the former without the latter. You can’t tell someone there is no limit to the rewards he or she can earn through merit, hard work and risk taking, then tell them at the end of their lives that they can’t do what they wish with their rewards when they decide they want to spoil children and grandchildren. Of course it’s a bad idea but it’s their choice to make.
