Bob Costas has done a few interviews today revealing that OJ tried calling him from the Bronco during the chase. They did have 900 mhz “car phones” in those days, the electronics in the trunk handset in the car. Costas didn’t answer the phone.

OJ called because he wanted Costas as a character witness. Apparently they had a cordial relationship. Long story short, Costas visited OJ in jail before the trial.

After some awkward small talk, Costas asked a few questions about the evidence which OJ dodged. Costas never spoke with him again.

Costas believes based on the evidence that OJ was guilty. I will add that the prosecutors, especially the lady, were no match for OJ’s defense team.

OJ did it and no reasonable alternative theory has ever proven otherwise.

Tangent here - Bob Costas is perhaps the worst person for a 'character witness' next to Charles Manson. Dude is a liar and a loon.
