You don't understand college basketball transfer recruiting if you think that the school the kid is coming from matters as much as it does in football. There are only 13 spots at each P5 school meaning TONS of talent is overlooked and ends up at smaller schools. 43% from 3 is 43% from 3 no matter where he comes from.

It doesn’t matter much in football either. Many, many great college football players and NFL players have come from small Non-Power 5 schools. Hell, LSU has had some such as Jabril Cox.
