frick you haters....

quote:

Lee denied any intention of transferring.

"Definitely," he said, when asked if he saw LSU as his future. "That's why I came here. I didn't come here to transfer; I came here to be the starter. So that's what I'm going to do, try to get better every day and control the things I can control and listen to what the coaches have to say."

(and anyone else who mentions this as german.)

doesn't matter, he will be third string anyway....but then again knowing Miles, he may start.

I don't hate him, but he should take a back seat to JJ until he earns his way back to starting. IMO, Jefferson is our immediate future until someone shows he is better.

Well thats cool, I hope he does improve. I dont personally see him becoming LSU's starter again (barring injuries) but I sure dont mind him on the roster.

Someone already has. Look at the topic title and you'll see who.

based off jeffersons first 2 performances, we might see Lee by the 2nd quarter of the bowl game.

...and what if Lee has thrown 55+ TD's and 10 INT's by his Sr year?

I disagree, given his prep time before this game. I think he's going to light GT up!

Everyone realizes that Lee was the sixth best quarterback in the SEC this year, right? Behind a Heisman winner/finalist, a potential #1 overall draft pick, and a couple of guys who had the best seasons of their careers.

To this point, Jefferson and Lee are tied for first going in to next season. The starter will be decided in Spring and Summer practices. Not to mention we'll probably see another duel back system next year.

I'm amazed at how a few weeks without a game makes so many forget how bad it felt when JLee was tossing INTs every week.

He threw 16 picks and just 14 TD's. The numbers for QB's 7-12 must be aweful!

This kid's got the MOXY. I don't care what a bunch of message board assholes say. This kid has the characteristics of a great leader, and i don't care if he ever starts for LSU again. I'm all for the coaches putting the right guy out there giving us the best chance for VICTORY!! Whoever that may be....
