maybe this is why he's the ex-FDA food chief instead of the current one.

the FDA makes no mention of steak and says eggs are safe as well

It is safe to eat eggs during the bird flu outbreak.

“There is no evidence that the virus can be transmitted to humans through properly prepared food,” the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) says.

The whole thing is a nothingburger, but what that guy said is the same thing you think contradicts him. He didn’t say steak or eggs were dangerous; he said rare steaks and runny eggs could contain Bird Flu. And that’s what the FDA meant when they referred to “properly prepared” food.

rare steak is properly prepared so that doesn't make sense.

FDA didn't mention steaks at all

That tells me the FDA doesn’t know anything about food that actually tastes worth a shite. Anyone that paid attention over the last 4 years wouldn’t trust anything coming out of Washington, and rightfully so. I’m pretty sure we have a Man pretending to be a Woman close to the top at HHS. Why would anyone take our government seriously when someone that’s clearly mentally ill has any say over anything to do with Health?
