Nope. Voting for the person that can win and most closely aligns with my views (even if they aren’t perfectly aligned) is pragmatic. You require completely aligned views to get your vote. THAT, my friend, is tribalism. You’re engaging in some good old fashioned projection

Not at all, and that's part of the problem. You behave as if everyone who doesn't join your tribe must be supporting the other tribe. There's a term for that, but it's escaping me right now...

Hey, question: do you think it really matters who wins? It seems like as a country, we’ve committed to this reckless spending trajectory that we’re seeing through no matter who is in office. I don’t see how my life would be significantly different if Trump would have won again or even if Hillary would have won shudder

Kinda seems like a waste of energy to get invested in presidential elections.
