I took it less that he regrets supporting Biden and more that he regretted publicly picking a side.

They need these celebrities to think like them so that they can somehow associate themselves with Hollywood and finally feel like the cool kid they never were growing up is my guess.
As for other people in Hollywood with a hurt arse about it I think it’s some reading between the lines and seeing that The Rock now sits on the BoD for a company with two brands that by and large have a more conservative leaning fanbase and a fair amount of talent that lean that way as well so he’s not gonna just tow the progressive line anymore. That being said I don’t think he’s going to start saying any based stuff either. He’s gonna try to be as ambiguous and in the gray area as possible.
