1. Just keep going and leave the wolf there where he hit it
2. Help the wolf and take it to a vet
3. Kill the wolf and put it out of its misery

Taping its mouth shut and going to a bar to show it off before taking it out back and killing it is fricking lame. I'll bet there were a bunch of people at the bar that were giving him the side eye or outright calling him a douchebag, and that's why he finally took care of it.
