I am not sure how this will affect the current private schools but I'd imagine that the fringe students intelligence-wise that currently go to private schools will lose their spots in the future to smarter kids that would have gone to public school otherwise.

Private schools will spring up like mushrooms under this plan. Most of them will be for shite.

The top 10% are. Private school enrollment as a whole have been on the decline since 2015 or so.

Yep, my kids private school is full. Might find room for you if you are 6'5" or have a sub 4.6 forty.
