All 3 bureaus should be frozen at all times, with a temp unfreeze if needing to buy something. Way too much fraud to risk it. It takes a minute to freeze and unfreeze

I agree. I did this four or five years ago, and it's very easy to remove a bureau for a short period of time if you ever have the need to run your credit.

THIS!!!!!!
If you are not doing this on a regular basis you are leaving yourself open for misery. We live in a diff time and this is a tool that will keep you “safer”.
