Eatel fiber hanging on strong

I’ve had Eatel for nearly 11 years.
Had 1 outage for about 2 hours and immediately got a text message about when it would be back on.

Never lost it during Ida. Had to plug in my power source into my generator, but never lost it.

It's nearly all buried, at least in the newer areas. REV now. Unless pedestals or nodes get hit, it's pretty solid as far as infrastructure goes. Your aerial cables are what take a beating in storms or if poles go down.

Yep one of the best things about fiber is if you get your ONT and gateway powered via a generator you have Internet, unlike with cable service where if your street loses power it doesn't matter if you get your modem energized
