She couldn’t get the job done. 0-3 against the cocks.

I would bet she’s better than 0-3

You would lose. Lost to them last year on Super Bowl Sunday and twice this year.

Not against the cocks, which is the topic of the this thread dumbass. And if Carson didn’t get hot in the natty game we wouldn’t have beaten Iowa either

His point is giving her credit for doing as well as anyone possibly can against South Carolina’s size and depth but okay

Most people can't help going out on another tangent.

Stepping up? That was her job.

And if Clarke hadn't played out of her mind against us this time, we'd have beaten Iowa again.
Lots of ifs to throw around. Despite all of the records broken by Caitlin Clarke, Iowa still wasn't able to get it done when it mattered.

What does Clark have to do with my post? I didn’t even mention her. We didn’t get beat because of her. She shot 44% from the field. I wouldn’t call that hot.
We lost because we shot 38% and Angel in particular shot 33% (7-21) and 37% from the line. If she shoots 50% from the field and makes 75% of her FT’s we beat Iowa regardless of what Clark did. Angel probably missed more layups and point blank shots under the rim than anyone in the country. 30-35% of her rebounds came off her own missed shots.

Angel was dominating the 1Q and struggled mightily after hurting herself. Her ful game performance wasn’t good enough, but she was battling while injured and we didn’t figure out Iowa’s zone (which wasn’t primarily her fault).

But she did. Didn't realize it was Angel Reese's responsibility to beat Iowa by herself last year. That's why LSU was allowed to put 4 more players on the court at all times, and 5 if Reese wasn't in the game.

She had 9 three pointers. You don’t call that getting hot? Come on man.

She shot a blistering 30% today and threw up 30 foot bricks with the game on the line.
