Sorry to make a third thread in a few minutes, but has anyone noticed the amount of decommits that end up committing to SCAR?

It couldn't have anything to do with the other big Div I school in the state firing their coach in the middle of the season.

They're definately capitalizing on others' misfortune aren't they?

Mostly decommits from Clemson and Tennessee.

Certainly helps being the other respectable state school in South Carolina when Clemson loses their coach.

Considering most of those were Clemson commits that likely changed their mind to USC after Bowden left, I don't see much of a problem.

What does your sarcasm have to do with anything? It was merely a statement.

Yeah, sarcasm is borderline retarded you people. For Fecks' sake. of 6 decommits that USCe has picked up: 3 came from Clemson, 2 from Tennessee, and 1 from Georgia Tech.

It was an interesting observation because there's plenty of other opportunities for those guys to look at too right in the area. Cripes. I'm as sarcastic as any around here but some of ya'll are just silly.

. Seriously though, the OBC is building a nice little class and maybe in a couple years could be staring down a SECW run. It may be such a gauntlet in 4 years that no one will be a favorite going into the season.

The SEC is becoming a slaughterhouse. Though I do think Auburn took a step back. That's just me. I'll be back later to admit that I was wrong if I prove to be.

Save for Florida you could see that there was no other dominant team. Sure Bama went 12-1, but you look at some of those games and they were far from won by a huge margin. Once Tebow is gone, I expect mad chaos.

safeties make good athletes.

Lotta people think Holloman could bulk up pretty easily and play LB.

I'd be willing to bet Alshon Jeffery decommits from USCw and ends up at USCe kind of like the Joe Adams situation last year with Arky

What else since we talked last usc? Burfict still looking like he won't qualify and Carroll to Arizona? Anyone else?

Teo to BYU is my guess.

What's the news on Kennard? Personally unless you know something I dont (which is likely) I wouldn't feel too good about him. I'd be watchin out for the Sun Devils. The local team seems to have been in it pretty steadily.

Apparently Kennard had a good visit last weekend for his official, but he's been really quiet so I really have no idea. Carroll is getting a late push from Cal and Arizona, who want him to play WR while SC wants him to play CB. Teo apparently love Notre Dame also now along with BYU so I'm not getting my hopes up there and Burfict looks like he probably won't qualify at this point.

Pretty shitty month for USC.

One substandard year for recruiting won't hurt too bad. Two or three bad years in a row and I'll be a little concerned though.

And yes, I believe we'll only be a top 10-20 ranked recruiting class this season. Unspeakably bad for USC, but pretty damned good for everyone else.
