Then Constantine and those who exploited a situation by invoking both State and Christ-by-Proxy powers (as "Vicars of Christ"). This hybrid Holy Roman Empire rule and system would wind up binding the citizens of many nations and people for a 1000 years.

Absolutely, Sola Scriptura. Man's "traditions" based on Man's Nature means they have been corrupted. ONLY the Bible, God's Word (and inspired Word) can be trusted 100%.

You do realize Bible ownership as late as the 1500s was a death penalty, as ordered by the Vatican and its church overlords, right?

You do realize also that the un-converted were coerced under penalty of death as well? (be they Protestant, Jewish, Muslim, or Pagan).
