I think one of them went through A&M before getting to UConn. The women have more international players than NYC metro players.
Castle is also Hurley’s only McDonalds All American recruit ( and he’s from GA). Calhoun didn’t have a ton of McDAAs either LINK They just have done a good job in finding and coaching the right talent for their program.
