Sounds like my mom. She met my dad when she was 22. She was living in a boarding house for young Christian (Catholic) women who moved to the big city (Baton Rouge) for work. Dad was a ‘grizzled’ 25 year old Korean War veteran working at one of those futuristic television stations in the late fall of 1954. They were engaged and married all within 10 months of meeting each other.

They had 9 children and were happily married for 34 years until Dad passed away from cancer at the very young age of 60.
