Yes, but no. It's absolutely *not* "mostly sugar". That wouldn't even resemble bread. In Ireland, the sugar content of bread can't exceed 2% of the weight of the flour content. Subway is at 10% sugar by weight of flour, or 5g of sugar in a 6" loaf. Still quite a bit of sugar for "bread", but not "chewing on sugar granules" levels of sweet that it would be at 50%+ of the total content of the loaf

How much guilt to food lobbyists have to overcome in the US? I know some probably have no conscience. We’ve all read the Disney threads this week about the size comparisons of UK vs Americans this week.
