It was literally the definition of a moving screen

There’s no way you can watch that and say it’s not a moving screen. UConn had their chances, but they can’t complain about that call. Only argument they have is that you don’t call it at that moment in the game. Which I get. But there’s no way that’s not a moving screen

It clearly was.
People online are influenced because ESPN didn’t who the angles that clearly show it, and they had 3 former UConn players on their broadcast

The only thing that will be remembered is the champion this year. So it’s really not worth talking about anymore.

It was a moving screen. Sticking that hip out on a screen has been called in men’s and women’s for awhile.
That said, you rarely see that called that late in a game. But it is what it is.

It was a textbook moving screen. Her feet were too far apart to set a legal screen and there was definite contact with her elbow, though Marshall flipped a little. But it was the right call.

It was a moving screen and a great job by the defender to play through the screen and take the bump. To not call it would have been taking away a great play by the defender.

Looks like a left tackle sliding to make a block. Of course it was illegal.

I been seeing people complaining about this. But after watching that, how is this even a debate? That’s a totally illegal screen.

interesting how they only call it once or twice a game but there are literally 20 moving screens a game. like carrying or traveling, very selective when they blow the whistle.

Okay. Time for some whataboutism.
What about the half dozen times where Clark blatantly pushed off to get separation on her jump shot? A couple were full arm extension and not one was called.
