I can't connect my new Eufy camera to my Google Home wifi.

I know the camera is supposed to connect to the 2.4 ghz frequency (not the 5) but for some reason it won't. I do not have an option to select only 2.4 on my Google Home wifi.
I've followed the directions from the Eufy website as best as possible but the instruction are dated because Google Home has updated their app since and Eufy has not updated their website.
Any ideas?

I got you bro.
Common problem with a Google wifi is you can't separate the 5G band, and Eufys can't use the 5G band.
So what you have to do is use the technology against itself. The 5G band doesn't travel as far as the 2.4G band.
Take the device as far from the router as you can but where you still have a connection to the network (your phone too im assuming you're using for setup). You won't have a visual cue besides perhaps your wifi signal on your phone looking "weak," but this will force Eufy/your phone to use the 2.4 band for setup.
Once you connect, you can move everything where you need it. Its only setup that is an issue.

I ended up setting up the guest SSID on Google WiFi which is 2.4 only and used it for setting up eufys for my sister and brother in law.
