Zion bought in that's the point
All those stories you heard predraft were probably true
Zion didn't want to be here
Zion maybe wanted to be at Duke for another year
Zion was x, y, z
You can't compare CP3 or AD to what Zion did
Your right. Lesser GMs allowed their stars to buy in early...how did that work out again?
Griffin has been begging for Zion to buy in...not be immature, etc
CP3 and AD didn't buy in because of our GM. They bought in because they wanted to be great. They wanted to do what they thought great players would do.
Zion year 5 has nothing to do with Griff
It has to do with Zion
And we are bringing firing Zion
So maybe let's keep the guy who keeps putting solid talent around that guy

If I'm Griff
It's easy
Mccollum wasn't available..got him for a steal. He filled the Jrue role and gave us leadership
Trey and Hawkins is what I gifted us via draft picks vs needs
BI...almost everyone in the league was terrified to make him the centerpiece of that trade...I did it
People didn't like Adams...I upgraded Adam's
Now let's do every other gm in Pelican/hornet history
Maybe then you will see why Griff gets one more season
