This. I still believe had Covid happened in 2018 or 2019, JBE would have acted much less like a Communist dictator.
Also, the Democrats didn’t have another JBE type on their bench to run in 2023 for Governor. Shawn Wilson stood 0 chance. A candidate like him isn’t electable statewide in Louisiana.
