Her inability to dribble around her opponent on offense...Defensively, she was often times a liability and her slow lateral movement allowed her opponents to easily get around her, collapsing the defense and causing teammates to rotate over to help. It's ok to help sometimes but HVL required more defensive help than usual.

Yep, as several of us have said, simply not quick enough to play PG either offensively or defensively. And as I mentioned before, what happened in the MTSU game was a perfect example. She was beaten time and again when the PG dribbled around her in the 1st half. In the 2nd half, she overplayed the outside and forced her into the lane where Angel Reese or Morrow was there on help defense.

HVL was very good at L'ville and may be very good at her new school, however she was a bad fit at LSU. Also, she should abandon the idea of playing PG.... Her playing PG hurt LSU a lot more than many realize.

She isn't going to be good playing PG no matter where she plays unless it is a mid major conference where the other PGs don't have more speed than she has. The only thing I disagree with is your last sentence. She didn't hurt LSU playing PG because she unfortunately was the best option...not a good one for sure but the only real option. Blame Kim Mulkey for not signing a true, proven PG.
