I think Mulkey would have loved to have Hailey another year. I think she saw a lot of herself in Hailey and knew she had potential to be a lot better with one more year.
I think Hailey knows she made a huge mistake coming here. She was treated so brutally by so-called fans. I hope she kills it wherever she goes. She deserved better.

She will likely attempt to expand her NIL deals in a large media market. I suspect that Octagon that represents her suggested Los Angeles given the various outlets for her. I’ll take a guess and say she ends up at USC.

WTF, was that???????? Saw a lot how? Cause Hales wore the same braided hot blonde pigtails that Kimmy wore back in the 80’s?? Or because both were little blonde cocky hotties that could really hoop and kick your arse in HORSE?? I’m just spitballing here so you tell me baw. Look wasn’t a good fit so people move on. It’s over I mean nothing really ends well or it wouldn’t end dude. She did what was best for her after her and Kim had their end of season pow wow. Look I’ll bet Kim who’s a dam good coach and wants what’s best for them shot her straight and laid out everything and HVL said yeah maybe a fresh start is better for me.
PS. Do you really think Kim should have pulled rank or done something idiotic and made sure Poole could not enter or be thrown out if seen at the Travis Scott show? I heard Poole was there (BACKSTAGE IN FACT) with Nick Saban. Just sayin…..

I found her generally likeable other than her absurd fake ghetto speech pattern.
So she wasn't some points machine? Seemed to be a 100% effort on the floor type player to me. Fans can be dumb.

HVL's mistake was leaving Louisville because she was upset her coach wouldn't let her play PG. As soon as he selected a PG from the portal, HVL knew what time it was and was out.
She CHOSE LSU because KM agreed to let her learn the PG position AND the chance to win a title. However, HVL simply wasn't good enough to play PG. Her inability to dribble around her opponent on offense resulted in long passes from between the half-court and 3-point line. Also, opposing teams learned early in the season that she was VERY uncomfortable when pressured on-ball.
Defensively, she was oftentimes a liability and her slow lateral movement allowed her opponents to easily get around her, collapsing the defense and causing teammates to rotate over to help. It's ok to help sometimes but HVL required more defensive help than usual.
HVL was very good at L'ville and may be very good at her new school, however she was a bad fit at LSU. Also, she should abandon the idea of playing PG. It was a horrible experiment at LSU and there's NO WAY she playing PG in the WNBA. HVL should make plans for playing overseas. Her playing PG hurt LSU a lot more than many realize.
