HBO is slipping

Netflix. Amazon etc are quantity not quality

Bear, Shield, shogun, justified, damages, what we do in the shadows, the old man, the league, thief, IASIP, Atlanta, Archer, Taboo, Devs, etc. is a hell of lot to hang your hat on.

I’m not a fan of Nip/tuck, AHS, SoA, Wilfred, and a host of others weren’t my jam, but they were unique.

AMC had a bit of a run but it didn’t last long

HBO is going on based off of name recognition, but they are far removed from Sopranos, The Wire, Deadwood, etc

They’re certainly doing the best of newer shows coming out that have become appointment watching.

Only Murders in the Building. Under the Banner of Heaven.

I’m looking forward to the one coming out with Lily Gladstone and Riley Keough, Under the Bridge.
