Yeah I lost faith that Marvel couldn't repeat that thing they did that no one else had ever done, or has been able to do again since.
I mean seriously, how hard is it to manage a multi-decade, multiple dozen movie shared cinematic universe that has a satisfying ending and nearly ever movie is a hit?
DC clearly had no issues whatsoever. And remember Universal's Monsters Shared Universe? Plus Matel is about to launch their toy cinematic universe. So pathetic that Marvel couldn't be bothered to just repeat Avengers Endgame.
*Edit*
Obviously over the top here, but seriously, how much are we supposed to hold it against Marvel that their films have been less-than in compared to what came before. They are still rolling way better than DC and how many other franchises are pumping out this much content without a dropoff?
The revisionist history with Marvel is laughable at times with this board. Comics have always been "woke". Major comic companies couldn't hiring top talent so they often had to settle for those others didn't want to hire (i.e. so many early writers and artist being Jewish). Just because they aren't overly left leaning now doesn't mean that wasn't how they were when they were published.
