Shaq has said he has big plans for her at Reebok when she leaves LSU. You can bet they have talked this week. She will be making decisions for the women's side of Reebok. Angel said she plans to create her own Reebok shoes and clothing line. That is one that will follow her after LSU. She will also be pursuing a modeling career. Add the $$$ she earns from the millions of social media followers. She will be capitalizing on her popularity and success for the next couple years.

Why does she need the wnba for any of that? You just showed her financial value is more on her fame than her playing ability . So why not stay where you are more famous (college) than going to the barren wasteland that is the wnba?
I would argue the same for katelyn Clark, although she will probably become the (much needed) face of the wnba.

Nobody is underrating the value of social media, etc. as you keep claiming , but you are largely overrating the popularity of wnba. (There is none. It’s all propped up by the nba and media)

Apparently, you don't get it. I never said WNBA is popular. But Angel is, and she and Clark may help elevate WNBA. The WNBA is excited both have declared, because they are both superstars with personalities. Angel is ready to move on from college. She has accomplished all her goals in college and has nothing more to prove. She is an adult now and ready to move forward to the next step of her life. There are some limitations in college, obligations with classes, and extreme scrutiny at LSU. She is ready to start her career with WNBA and continue her national branding NIL's and social media platforms. She will carry that to the WNBA and maybe pick up more national NIL's. And modeling while in WNBA. She will be taking advantage of her popularity the next couple years, whether she is in the WNBA or not.
