How many did she make with a hand in her face? She was contested and still made shots. Not really much you can do on a few of those.

If you watched, on a few of her assists, she would stop at the top of the key and the person that was on the trailing girl would stop to defend the 3 point shot. This left the other girls open under the goal. Their transition is hard to sop when Clark can pull up and shoot or pass to the open girl breaking for the goal.

At some point you just have to give Clark credit. She had an amazing night shooting.

of course she shot lights out, and she's a phenomenal player.

I'm merely saying she got significantly more points and assists last night than her season average. So our defensive game plan wasn't working.

And that where a coach (and the entire staff) has to adjust on the fly. We waited far too long to try a different approach.
