I think some here overestimate Foo Fighters’ popularity and footprint in the collective consciousness.

As many records as they’ve sold, a Super Bowl audience wouldn’t know who they are.

Big enough to headline Bonnaroo and do stadium tours. They’re certainly one of the few bands that would be big enough but like said before Dave apparently doesn’t want to do it

That's why its a tough question. What early 2000's band is bigger AND all alive? Audioslave would be up there too But Cornell.

They had The Weekend do the halftime show just a couple years ago. FF aren’t as big as them?
