You are implying what that logic that it is solely owner's fault that pitbulls are aggressive. This isn't true. Read link of my previous comment just one above here. Pitbulls are responsible for 77% of dog on human death despite making up 6% of dog population. No drastic difference that massive can ever be attributed to human training. When the stats are that vastly different, exponentially overrepresented in a certain area and pretty much make up every human death, that solely lies on genetic predisposition. Ugly dogs, ugly behavior. All should be impounded.

I believe it. The ER charge nurse (second visit to ER for second round of rabies shots) said if he's seen 200 dog bites since he has been at the ER, 199 of them were from pit bulls.

My dad was vet. I never met an animal that didn't have a natural affinity for him (or me, for that matter). Pit bulls were one of two breeds he would not work on and that had bitten him. Rottweilers were the other.

What I am saying is Pits are aggressive because they have been breed by humans to be aggressive. That isthe truth. It is the same reason my Bassets go ape shite when they see a rabbit and my Ridgebacks didn't need to be taught to find, trail, and bay a pig. They were selectively bred by humans to do a job. You give the Pit "treatment" with the breeds I mentioned and you get bigger, stronger, faster dogs that can kill humans much easier than a Pit. These dogs already have an aggressive side to them so it wouldn't take a lot of selective breeding to turn at least certain lineages into the same weapon as Pits they would just be much better at it. It is nature of certain humans you are battling not the nature of a dog that was "made" by humans.
