Which is why he ran. Thus, a stiffer punishment is needed. It won’t happen, though, and we all know it. It not saying he needs to be in prison, but the typical slap on the wrist doesn’t accomplish anything.

Do you really want to base criminal law on what the state can't prove (but wants to)? Think about the implications across the board.
