A good friend of mine who’s Episcopalian, told us one year on Easter Sunday his family went to church and the priest walked to the pulpit and said something to the effect of “In today’s world with so many points of view, one thing we can all agree on is He is Risen. Happy Easter, everybody…….then dismissed the service. After all the work getting up early, dressing up, finding someplace to park at a packed church, they were there for a total of about 15 minutes….

And then probably went to fellowship for an hour or two with the congregation for coffee, donuts, and conversation in a beautiful church. I was raised Episcopalian, it's usually like going to a nice hotel after a service filled not with fire and brimstone, but goodwill and positivitiy.

If you've been keeping up with the evolution (devolution) of Episcopalians, this is actually very on brand.
