It is time for LSU fans to circle the wagons. Nationwide articles are written about the LSU women’s basketball team- it is time for LSU fans to support the players and the team. It is no surprise that the Washington Post and LA Times released the articles before the game to distract the team - it didn’t work but did affect the players. If you Google “dirty debutantes- you get LSU women’s basketball and porn. That’s disgusting that the media has gone to great lengths to take down this team.

Our team has many strong personalities along with our coach. Many still seem to buy into the old sexist narrative that women should always be polite and say the “right” thing. So tired of this crap narrative. I may not always agree with a statement or response to a question, but am proud as hell of them for not acting like shrinking violets, playing together and playing hard. That run in the last couple minutes of this game tells you what they are made of.

I am good with a homer playing a little good versus evil, but I am not entirely sure that the LA locals were main audience. The “dirty debutantes” pushed it over the line regardless as searching that only comes back porn.
