Tithe
You do realize if you take the lump sum option, you will end up with $330 million and will have to tithe $93 million. It's 10% of the entire powerball, not what you receive after lump sum/taxes.

invest
Let's say after your generous tithe donation of $93 million, you invest $100 million at 5% interest rate. That's another $5 million to you per year but another $500K to the church every year.
What's the church going to do with all that money? Why not just make a generous donation to your church establishment and then donate what what you would have tithed to the church for St. Jude's, Shriners, maybe build a hospital under your name for sick children, etc.
The church won't do any of those things with your money.
Happy Easter Y'all.
