You're right. Trump himself admitted that he didn't fire Fauci and followed everything he said in order to keep the Dems and MSM happy.

If it makes you feel any better he did indeed “fire” Fauci for all intents and purposes, and thus broke from taking his advice and counsel on any further pandemic matters. That actually did happen. They ended up on very bad terms and remain so to this day. So I just get the sense here that you’ve adopted a off the shelf anti-Trump mentality on this subject, perhaps without having done some due diligence as to the accuracy of the canned narrative.
