i'm obviously speaking about "one average female Marine" as an abstract concept when put up against "one average male Marine", not one specific female Marine. i will try to be more clear going forward with what i thought was a fairly obvious concept.

but yes, in a literal sense, i'm sure i can find one specific female Marine who is faster and stronger than one specific male Marine somewhere.

do you believe that women in combat arms makes us better at fighting and more lethal?

Yeah, I don't really care about "the average Marine."

If done the right way, absolutely. That should be the argument.

Just a question - why do they have to make us “better” and “more lethal”???

What if we’re still as good as we were and just as lethal?

Fwiw, I support biology over politics on the issue. Set the standards. If a marine passes it, the marine passes it. I’m against making a special exception to “get more females in” but similarly against a restriction that keeps a female who qualifies out “because”.
