It’s not just the homogenous population.
It’s that the natural resources (fish and oil) are more than enough to support the (smaller) sized total population.
It’s a wealthy country with a small population.
If America goes in the crapper - I have already worked out my immigration plan to one of those countries. My skill set is highly valued in that country and I would not have to learn the language either.
