I did it for my Pontiac Sunbird. The foam holding it to the cardboard failed totally in the heat of a Houston summer.
I did get a chuckle or three in Houston traffic seeing other drivers with their headlines collapsing in other GM cars back then.

When i look in my rear view i see it flapping around…but I don’t think it’s low enough for folks outside to see it.
