i'm open to being corrected on that. but i will say i'm a bit ignorant on med schools in Texas.

now that you say that, i know an unusual number of optometrists which probably skews my . I'm in Temple and Baylor Scott and White has a large eye institute and I go to church with a ton of them and they all seemed to have gone to UH.

It its a good academic school, below UT and A&M, but better than other public options in Texas.

Being a commuter school is what hurts it the most.

If they are Optometrists in Temple then it would make sense that they went to U of H. If Ophthalmologists then who knows, could be lots of places.

There are a lot of Med schools in Texas and they seem to be building more and more. I cant keep up.
