I have relatives that worked for Baylor... 1 was a professor. He was not allowed to drink Alcohol in public "IF" there was a resonable expectation that there might be students there. It is a Baptist University... ultra conservative.

"IF" Kim advised players not to discuss their sexuality or orientation while playing for Baylor... Sounds like pretty good advice. Remember.. "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" was a thing in the service... And a fairly common philosophy at the time.

...which is to say ultra-hypocritical. They just retired Britney Griner's number...after shoving her into the closet for three years. P.S. they did not offer a public apology or change the school's policy.

Kim was doing what she had to do get kids into her program and have a chance to mentor them. I firmly believe she found the whole policy repugnant and was happy to see Waco in the rearview mirror.
