My sister (no pics) went to LSU from in state and got paid to attend, as she went into a STEM field (and I do mean paid - she put away several thousand a semester of extra money into savings from scholarships, eventually using it as a down payment for a house). Point? You said your son wasn't getting attention, and that's the issue right there - he doesn't meet the DEI bar. Happy & proud for what my sis earned but the DEI scales are very, very real.
