When the human life is not inherently valuable because it is not considered to be made in the image of God, its creator, then the value of a human life is based on whatever else society wants it to be, such as pragmatism. The valueless can be enslaved, killed, and used for the betterment of the valuable in society and it not be "immoral".
We need to think about that when we view human life in the womb to lack inherent value. Children outside the womb, teenagers, and adults have no greater inherent value if you reject the inherent value of the human life altogether.

You just described a large portion of all of Chinese history. Organ harvesting the societal drains for the talented's sake is exactly in line with their civilizational moralities.
