This does set it up to where she pretty much has to sue them no matter what is said or else she's basically saying "that's true".
ETA: unless of course the article is like Kim Mulkey is a paragon of virtue and class. The pinnacle of coaching professionalism. But it seems unlikely that will be the direction of the article.

Right or wrong she would get crushed by that lawsuit…don’t F with the Washington Post. They have more money and more power. Threaten them all you want but don’t act on it
