Unfortunately he's in a bind. In order to appeal he has to post the bond or else the status remains static. Sure, he could file a suit in federal court but, chances are it does not get expedited so it becomes a drawn out process. His only hope is that after the NY property is seized, he files in federal court and a stay is placed on the state from disposing (selling) of the property until a resolution comes about.
All rents collected would go into an escrow account and I suppose a special master would be appointed to oversee the monies and disburse said monies for things like maintenance and upkeep, etc. If I were Trump, I would press the court that while the stay is in effect the state is responsible for making sure tha the taxes are paid on the properties seized and he is not left holding the bag for that....because the bastards would do something like that.
This won't be an expedited matter. By being in a state court, given the biases inherent you are looking at a minimum 3 year process. I doubt even him winning the Presidency changes anything substantial on the state level, in fact it may prolong it.
